Seeing Resident Evil 5 box, still waiting on demo

Today is a day rich in new Resident Evil 5 content -- just not the kind you can actually play. Earlier, you got a peek at some new levels through our Expertly Trained Lens© (that's right, we own the copyright) and now, well, here's the official box art. Cue the oohing and the ahhing. As for that demo you may or may not be currently playing offline, a sanctioned worldwide release is not scheduled until early next year.

The RE5 demo has been delayed due to unspecified complications, as we reported yesterday. But with the game's March 13th release date fast approaching, we can't imagine Capcom will continue to play the Vague Excuse Card (this one's public domain) much longer.

do demos have to go through the ESRB? That's all I can think of at the moment

I haven't heard of any odd bugs though.

Plus it was released on the Japanese Live service and I don't think that their standards would be any lower than the US'

Oh don’t use Handgun, why none of those characters can afford the Magnum to begin with? They know they will have to drop the Handgun in favor of the Magnum but they are not using their brains.

(Anyhow at least Chris now get's a gun from the beginning unlike in RE:1 “Silly Chris your Knife can't cut through sh*t”).

Don't go online fenix, it doesn't work online.

Just burn the demo to a dvd or cd, (you don't need to unrar any files) and it should come up as mixed media then go to game library look for the demo and play. It will ask you to sign in, but only sign in offline.

If you are outside of Japan, you must be signed out of Xbox LIVE for it to launch.

Can't wait for this game. I don't mind if it's just like RE4, I loved RE4 so I'll bite and play another one. I'm the type that will play all the Mega Man games and enjoy every one of them. So this should be solid.

I downloaded the demo and burnt it to a cd-r.The load times are long but the game is fun.

Am I the only one that is noticing Chris has developed some huge arms? WTF is up with that? Pumping roids?

Alot of what I've seen of this is starting to smack of RE4, just upgraded arms and visuals....with a smattering of RE0 type gameplay....is this correct for those that have played the demo already?

Still looking forward to it though.

There was nothing generic about the European GCN and PS2/PC Resident Evil 4 covers. Looked pretty snazzy if I may say so.

What, the red palette of this one? Yeah, that'd actually be one of my favourite covers of last year along with Orange Box...as for the US Version with some blonde ugly mofo with a gun..fail.
