heypaul @ Dec 18th 2008 12:36PM
Oh man, I've loved OutRun since the Yu Suzuki original showed up in my Pizza Hut when I was three or four. I've poured countless quarters into the 03 sequel and I'm probably one of three people that bought the PSP version so I could bring it everywhere with me. This is awesome.
Cellien @ Dec 18th 2008 2:08PM
Pizza Hut and arcades = lots of memories.
Nigeria @ Dec 18th 2008 12:40PM
If this is just Outrun 2006 I'll probably pass.
Actually, I'll probably end up buying it, Live Card and all. I just love Outrun. Shame nobody plays 2006 online anymore. The arcade version still gets lots of love though.
Marty @ Dec 18th 2008 12:40PM
It looks a little bit too much like Cruisin' USA to me.
WiNG LifeInAGame.com @ Dec 18th 2008 1:44PM
No this game has more drifting and misogyny.
AoE @ Dec 18th 2008 5:35PM
no way, OutRun/OutRun2/Coast2Coast/etc. are worlds better than the Cruisin' series by far. Just imagine the Cruisin' franchise minus all the suck... then replace the suck with awesome, and you have OutRun Arcade.
tifosiotaku @ Dec 18th 2008 9:23PM
I'll truthfully admit to liking the Cruis'n games, especially Exotica...
Bleu @ Dec 18th 2008 12:41PM

Dr Jeckyl and Mr ESC. @ Dec 18th 2008 12:45PM
SWEET.
Hey am I the only one who would pay for Megarace if it was on the PSN or Xlive?
I would be so happy if Megarace,Cyclon,Rise of the Triad,Microman or Sky Roads were released in those services.
CJLopez @ Dec 18th 2008 12:53PM
man, i'm sooooo downloading this and letting my friends get ti to play online
Deck @ Dec 18th 2008 12:58PM
Totally for this. This looks like it should be pretty fun.
Though, I would really hope that other people think the same so there are actually people playing online.
Tuxy79 @ Dec 18th 2008 1:04PM
Instant purchase.
WiNG LifeInAGame.com @ Dec 18th 2008 1:05PM
Finally a REAL racing game on XBLA.
I always loved this game, but what with not having $5000 to buy a full arcade version, I GUESS I could settle for paying $5-$15.
GSport @ Dec 18th 2008 1:12PM
This is good news! I wish they would bring back Speed Demons for XBLA! It was one of my favorite Dreamcast titles. Speed Demons would make a great online and single player addition for both the 360 and the PS3.
Dralthi @ Dec 18th 2008 2:05PM
The screenshots make it look like a PS2 game but the video did it some justice. Looks cool. I love aracde racers so I'm definitely checking this out.
Mr. Cantu @ Dec 18th 2008 2:47PM
Man, I might just have to get this. I wonder how different it is from the DC version of Outrun I used to own? Also, are those screenshots stretched? Look at the speedometer in the lower left hand corner, it's more of an oval than a circle.
sonic the plumber @ Dec 18th 2008 3:26PM
The Dreamcast/PS1 game Vanishing Point by Acclaim needs to be ported now.
In A World (XBL) @ Dec 18th 2008 11:27PM
That was a great game. Did you ever drive the pickup truck? Man you fishtail outta control in that!
gimpy @ Dec 18th 2008 4:53PM
Excellent now let us have some 8 player online Daytona! there really is no more excuse for this to not happen.
tifosiotaku @ Dec 18th 2008 9:25PM
Licensing issues with International Speedway Corporation and EA's stranglehold on the NASCAR license say hi...
Biggie @ Dec 18th 2008 6:13PM
Sold for 800 points!
ysdarkfact @ Dec 18th 2008 7:07PM
Nothing better than playing the arcade version at Gameworks while getting drunk. It's virtual drunk driving.
Wiinterfang @ Dec 18th 2008 7:37PM
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!
Josh @ Dec 19th 2008 10:21AM
It reminds me of Sonic.
