Colour me unimpressed. 250,000 on to XBLA and PSN combined is some sort of record? Terrible news for digital distribution. Also it does not make sense. If Warhawk sold less then this on PSN, how come no one use the headsets that was bundled with this Blu-ray version? How about GT5:P totaling 2,000,000+. Less than 10% bought it from the PSN? Unbelivable.

Or is this a record for CapCom only games?

I doubt sales of Warhawk and GT5:P were that high on psn considering the price was about $30 - $40. I don't mind spending up to $20 for a downloadable game but when the price is closer to $30 or higher I prefer, and probably most people, a hard copy. At the same time though with digital distribution getting bigger I am hopeing this record will not stand for long.

250,000 copies @ $15 = 3.75 million dollars.

~4 million is a pretty big deal. valkyria chronicles hasn't even come close, and that's a stupidly terrific game

Maaaan,

I got bored waiting for it to appear on the store in good ole'England & bought it from the US Store........ It really is worth signing up to all stores US/Euro/Asian.

Simple equation if you have the means to set up 3 accounts.

3x Store Regions = (+)Play time (-)Disappointment.

Still not out for Australia either. And I don't know whether we are classed as Europe or Asia by SCEE. Either way I would buy this in a heartbeat IF IT WERE AVAILABLE ON MY PSN!

I believe Australia is included in the PAL region and grouped with Europe, which is overseen by SCEE.

well, you all can create the US account and buy it from PSN North America, can't you? So no big deal. However I'm waiting for the Japanese version. I prefer the correct names of the 4 bosses.

I played over 80 matches in a row with a commenter from this site the other night. Such a good game, one of the best on PSN and XBLA.

This is great, now that we know it's popular, maybe they'll release a patch to fix the 3435 things wrong with this game. First on the list, horribly unreliable network connections.

We all know this game wasn't done b/c of a half-assed developer and it had to come out before sf4 made it obsolete. Still, take the time, do it right, give us a patch!

"What did you expect? Capcom took an old-school favorite, improved upon it, and unleashed it onto all the SF fanboys. Street Fighter forever!"

Now repeat this step in a Capcom vs Marvel vs King of Fighters: 2 HD Remix and you'll have over 700k units gaurenteed hands down.... DO IT NOW CAPCOM!!!!

@ Korwyn...
"no big deal" ? If you have bought it via your US PSN account, then share to us how you did it.
US PSS has patched every attempt for europeans to buy this game withother cards than a authentic VISA card.

And what i have read latest is that SCEE are not releasing this due to some certification/license problem. SCEE are known to be very picky about everything being very correct, that they even deny a official worldwide release of this game in europe.

So if you want to spam a forum, you should go to SCEE's forum and just spam. They are the real problems in this matter.
