It seems fair to me... GameStop has been ripping people off for years now. Turn about is fair play!

I think the video link is broken because all I see are beautiful women. I enjoyed it, but that's not the news for this page is it?

How does gamestop rip you off? Why because they give you the only store you can bring your games into to trade in all the crap that piles up that you don't play anymore? Are you complaining because oh no, I wont get 50 bucks for a game they sell for 55! Keep in mind... every single game they take in they're not gonna sell. Why pay you top dollar for a game that could be sitting there for years until it just gets thrown out? Its a company that needs to make money my friend and infact they will do whatever they can to help you depending on the store you go to. Hell, we had someone from our store drive 30 minutes to pick up a wii from another store for a customer. They don't rip people off, and people have absolutely retarded opinions of gamestop. go to walmart where theyll have no idea how to answer your question or help you with anything at all.

Yes, Walmart, where you don't buy pre-opened games and where you do have actual assurance that your game isn't used, sold as new. What a cesspool.

I recently asked how much they would give for a copy of Resident Evil 4 for the GameCube and I was told $2 and change. They sell it for $12.99. I would never have expected $50 for a game they sell for $55. But I would have expected maybe $6 for one they sell for $12.99.

Also, I know of no less than 10 GameStop stores in my area and only two of them have employees that I would consider as nice and helpful. Most of them are complete jerks. When you find one store that the people are nice it really stands out. (Check out the one in Ramsey, NJ. They are great!) In addition, GameStop charges the same price for any used game regardless of it's condition, and if it comes with a manual or case. I feel like a game that has no scratches and comes with the case and manual shouldn't cost the same as the one with scratches and no case or manual.

On the plus side, GameStop will be out of business within 5 to 10 years. The future generation of game consoles will be downloadable games. This way you can only buy them from the manufacturer and they won't have to pay for packaging, printed materials, shipping, etc. They will make more money this way. And GameStop won't have any new games coming in that they can sell.

In my city, a few dunces stole $14,000 worth of equipment from a GameStop but hung around long enough to get caught on-site. Idiots.
