Video: Possible future Avatar clothing options discovered
33
The diligent folks over at Xbox Avatar Life have uncovered some YouTube videos of ... enterprising Xbox users that have discovered lots of currently unavailable clothing and accessory options for Avatars. All told, there are three videos covering the various hats, tops, shoes, pants, skirts, accessories and hairstyles for both male and female Avatars. Now, keep in mind that we have no idea when, or even if these options will ever be released, so don't get your hopes up about any particuar options. Actually, we're just going to disregard our own advice and say we can't wait for the puffy shirt. Check out all three videos after the break.
Warning, this one has some NSFW music

Actually, I had most of these unlocked while I had the beta for the NXE. As soon as it went public they all disappeared though.
I even have an outfit saved with the hoodie and sneakers which I'm no longer allowed to select because it has locked clothes.

I thought we would get some game-inspired clothes. Like a Master Chief helmet. Or at least a logo t-shirt.

They're already interacting with some Arcade games.. Not sure what else you want them to do.

I hate them too. They should be optional, and less turd. There should be a way to make the heads in proportion to the rest of the body, not have such long hands when wearing long sleeved tops, have a less gay stance, load quicker and should NEVER replace gamer pictures.

Yeah, I was surprised to find they removed all of these with the official launch. It feels nice having super-exclusive clothes, though;

Hopefully the clothes will be brought back. There's some nice stuff there.

Id still like the ability to put tattoos on my avatar rather than naff, pointless clothing.
Or how about some "inhuman" looks like horns or devil wings, big clawed hands or something like that?! These `mii-too's` are just way too kiddy-ish for me to be really that bothered about them.
Maybe in the future they'll bring out some kind of Sims/xbox live/build your own home/interact with the rest of xbox live world game. (if you can make sense of that lol)

why the hell can you not just change the color of the shirt? this option has been around in character creation since before the original xbox, and having two pages to scroll through of the same damn ringer shirt in various colors is enough to turn my brains into scrambled eggs and come running out my nose from the idiocy...

Yeah, this one is so head-smackingly obvious, only Microsoft wouldn't do it. It would increase the amount of personalization available without them having to make more assets.
Duh.

You know what sucks? The preview had goddamn SHUTTER SHADES. I have them on my guest profile's avatar (bad caricature of Kanye West) and I'm pretty sure he's also wearing a hoodie that's no longer available (I think it was called 'pixel hoodie', looks like a BAPE one, hence why Kanye is wearing it).
Come on MS. BRING BACK SHUTTER SHADES~

the slow trickle we're getting now will probably look like a flood in a few months when they presumably cut off the tap and start charging for this stuff..
