I like this site. I visit it daily for updates in wii news and what-not. For the most part I feel kept up on the current news and issues but sometimes find that this site does too many filler stories as well. Anyway.... Last week I met up for the Thursday Night Wii game playing crusade and was so let down, it was literally one of the lamest things I'd ever seen. I login to the chat room, there's like 11-15 people there and it's like nobody wants to play any games at all they just want to chat, and everyone is also like 14 years of age or younger too (fucking lame-O-).

I don't know how you guys can hype up game night (more like gay-night) every Thursday with a straight face when its a few immature douche-bags that dont even play games. I'll check it out again tonight, but if it sucks again I'm done.

The problem is Nintendo's antiquated friend code system. If that was out of the way, more mature gamers would take Wii online seriously. As it is now, though, it's a joke. But, with Game Night, we at least *try* to have some fun online with our readers. Sorry you were disappointed, but every time I show up, I get my game on (I missed last week due to an emergency, sadly).

Branding it 'Gay Night' as an insult undermines your attempt to call everyone else immature. Just a heads up.

As for last week I didn't stick around too long but it is a CHAT room. Sure, the theme of the night is playing games but given the fact that it's a chatroom, people are naturally going to have conversations. Conversations which can be enjoyable (although granted it's not always the most mature of places).

Personally I don't always play games at Game Night. Sometimes, but not every week. I like having other Wii players to talk to though, and if people want to talk then they are entitled to do so.

Aside from the homophobia, I would agree with Jtcp. The game night interface needs MUCH work. I've tried to join in a few times and it just doesn't work. I would suggest maybe having a specific page for Thursday Game Night, where you can have separate rooms for each game and when you go in teh room you can see other peoples friend codes and you can put yours in... or something... i mean come on!
