No, you are just clueless. You can listen to the podcast/netcast whenever you are doing other work, its called multi-tasking. As far as Twitter goes, its just short messages. Say X3F sends a tweet about GOW3, you would then go to the main site to see the details.

Multitasking? When I'm at work, I'm being paid to work as a licensed professional. Taking 60 seconds to grab the latest headlines from the X3F RSS feed is one thing; listening to a 45-minute MP3 while trying to work is another.

Besides - it would take me way less time to read a transcript of the audio recording than it would to listen to it all. That's why I read X3F; I honestly don't care to listen to it. I know X3F is classified as a "blog" (which is yet another retarded internet term), but I check it for news/headlines. Nothing personal against the guys they write for it - because I do appreciate them taking the time to collect and collate industry news - but I really don't give a fuck what their personal opinion about any of it is. Just how you don't give a rat's ass what I think. I can respect that.

I guess I just feel bad that the guys put time and effort into stuff like the weekly audio recording, and feel even sorrier for the people that lap it up every week.

I wish I knew, monkey! Seems like often the media gets ahold of a term and just beats it to death until it enters common vocabulary.

This is the first I've heard of "tweet" though; probably because I've so rarely checked out Twitter (it just seems redundant).

When you see a code is invalid that means someone already used the code.

not to be an ingrate, but when twittering to 500 people about a free game, maybe say that the code is only good for one person... save the other 499 of us some time entering it.
