And now you know why GHWT is already be priced at $50 for 360/PS3 at many retails. Yet RB1 is STILL $60...

Not too promising... though RB has been putting out much garbage as well. My wife will get a kick out of a lot of these tracks, so they're still getting my money :i

Thats Harmonix and MTV's fault for only making about 25 band packs per week, and not releasing it outside the USA.

Everyone outside the US had to wait an age to get RB1, and we still haven't got a release date for RB2 :-(
If they'd thrown them out everywhere like GH:WT at once, it'd be different.
Oh well, at least the cross compatible PS3 patch is finally out and we can ditch that piece of shit game.

I agree with JoeTheBlow.

When it came out most people never heard of Rock Band. Releasing the same time as GH:WT in Australia was a bad decision. People who really wanted it just imported from the UK. In the shops Rock Band got no press, GH:WT had massive boxes, displays and brand recognition.

Wait! Low by Travis Barker? Is that supposed to be Flo Ridas "Low" ft. Travis Barker? a hip hop song that travis barker made too sick? Officially first and only dlc that guitar hero has made me jealous of. Other then that.....screw guitar hero

While I don't have any kind of virulent hatred toward GHWT, I will admit that I am a much bigger fan of RB. That said, I'm definitely glad I got GHWT as a gift, because I'd have been pissed to shell out $60 for it. "Meh" DLC merely makes it so that when I do spend my actual money on new plastic instruments, it'll definitely be the RB ones that I buy.

Jeez, why does everyone like to crap all over GH posts? And can we only have one or the other, I mean buy one game with the instruments and pick up the other one too. Its not not like consoles which are expensive enough to warrant the puchase of only 1, its just another 60/50$ game with its own merits.
