LittleBigPlanet patch adds in-game store, improved search

- An in-game LittleBigStore! It functions as its own planet, and if you've already purchased the equipment, you can swap into the whole costume here.
- New search options (just to the right of Community). You can now navigate through user-generated content by highest rated levels, the most hearted levels, the newest levels and the busiest levels, as well as searching with text or tags.
- A "save level as" option when creating levels that lets you move the creation to whichever slot you would like.
- No additional Stephen Fry narration (unfortunately).

Finally!
After weeks and weeks of player complaints Media Molecule still claimed they had no plans to change the search system. I'm glad they finally caved in and fixed it. The previous method was terrible.
Are the Play. Create. Share. scores functioning yet?

We're not quite there yet. They still need to add some more options like "Top today," "Top this week," etc. just for starters before it's really working the way it should.
They just recently put up a thread on the official forum looking for feedback on the search function though, so I think we can expect more improvements.

I need some more time to fidget with this game and the level-making stuff... But Left4Dead is just so fun and easy to pick up... Argh.

New Search Modes: More ways to find interesting levels like Most Hearted, Highest Rated and Busiest!
In-game Store: Browse, buy and play downloadable content, such as the soon-to-be-released Metal Gear Solid packs, without needing to go to the Playstation Store
Create
Save As: Save your level to a different slot on the moon while mid-edit.

Keyboard text chat: Plug a standard USB keyboard into your PS3 and just start typing. Or, press Tab on your keyboard to go straight to the standard PS3 text entry screen.
Image export: save the photos you take in game to your hard drive.
General fixes, polishing and improvements, including:
* Fixed “Wheel of death” bug where Sackboy could get stuck endlessly respawning out of a checkpoint
* Better support for third party controllers
* Fixed stretch Sackboy arms
* General server improvements and optimization
* Improved the corner (vertex) editing tool
* Improvements to how Popit deals with complex shapes
* Improved Sackboy animation and made it harder to slap accidentally while acting
* Fixed lights so they don’t forget their colour
* If anything I can say this cab is rare
* Improved Online multiplayer level selection
* And I yelled to the cabbie ‘Yo homes smell ya later’
* I looked at my kingdom

Just tried out the new search . . . OMG, it actually does what it's supposed to. Not sure why it took them so long to fix it, but, hey, better late than never.
Now all they gotta do is fix the ridiculous lag I get when I try to connect to other people online.

this is why i'm glad i'm waiting to get this for Christmas. as excited as i am to play LBP, after that first week i knew that it'd be Christmas before they iron everything out with patches. now i can just unwrap the game, patch and enjoy it. and that MGS4 stuff looks awesome!

These guys are on a freakin ROLL this week!! Between the search being fixed and the MGS DLC(PAINTGUN!!!)...My wife is gonna HATE me...
I freakin love this game man...I hope this all turns into more people picking this Gem up...if you own a PS3 you should have this game...period

the chat dialogue box is now different. Rather than being white and showin up at the upper screen on a fixed position, it is now black and shows up right on top of the sackboy and follows him/her whereever he/she moves

hooray! The being able to just type works finally! Though when I do that I can't actually see the letters...
