Metallica debuts Guitar Hero: Metallica trailer

Metallica songs are pretty much why I lost interest in GH and now am more loyal to RB - they are a bunch of greedy pigs. Lars is a freaking hypocrite and will not waste time for explaining why - it should be obvious...

I'll take the Beatles game, FooFighters game, Nirvana game or ANY other band for that matter (no Coheed and Cambria please) any day over these heavy metal hasbeens

Cant wait to go home and play Death Magnetic on GH3 again.

I say screw GH:M and just put more Metallica songs on Rock Band! But oh well, I like Metallica so I might have to check this game out.

I can't wait to pick this up even though I am heavily invested in Rock Band and Rock Band 2 already. I just saw Metallica in concert last night here in LA and they still kick ass after all these years! I won't be picking up the GHWT set but I will buy the game by itself and play with the instruments that I already have.

Wow... It's amazing how few people here are excited for this.

I say bring it on. The only reason to not look forward to this is if you suck at Guitar Hero, because let's face it: this game has the potential to be the most difficult Guitar Hero/Rock Band style game yet.

Plus, despite the fact that aside from Death Magnetic, they haven't done anything extraordinary in the last 10 or 15 years, they more than made up for those mis-steps in the 10 or so years worth of EPIC music that came before it.

I can't wait.

This will most likely be my Last GH game I will ever buy. I already have WT so I might as well get this too since Ive kind have been waiting for this since Aerosmith which I never wanted.

I have a question...why so much hate towards GH and love for Rock Band on this website? I don't own EITHER..but I've played both alot over friends houses. I tend to like GH instruments a lot better but I wouldn't say that RB Suck or rant about one or the other...I just don't get all the hate.

I understand that RB pumps more DLC which is cool for the consumer...but GH is giving something for the consumer as well...Say I'm a BIG Metallica fan and have a couple songs from DLC wasn't enough...I would buy GH:M because I want the full experience...what is wrong with that? Nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything...its just another option for the consumer....sometimes I don't get the internet...I personally like Metallica and will probably get this game based on that because it looks awesome! All this tribalism is really weird to me...

I've eaten up anything GH/RB so far, but I think it's time I stopped eating GH.

Otherwise I'll be obese by the end of 2009 after 10 new GH titles come out.
