map will be crap. i read in game informer its two hallways stacked on top of each other. why they keep remaking longest is beyond me. give us damnation!!!

Thats odd, because I read "from Bungie" its a two sided map with an obstacle in the middle that is only safe to traverse after pushing a button to activate a bridge or something.
Also, while not certain, its possible if you look at those monitors, one of them has a map on it. Could be the map for Orbital, could be complete crap.

Bungie said, in the Game Informer article I believe, that it's designed for assymetrical gametypes(1 Flag/Bomb). Of course that's what they said about Ghost Town and I still only ever get KOTH on that map.

you see when I play halo I don't come across annoying nooblets like that that often, usually i'm being outmatched against a team with 4 generals, but the mute button is an amazing thing.
Also I say let people teabag, it makes it easier for me to kill them while they're gloating.

I say Halo 3 has one of the worst map designs for Multiplayer matches ever.
The only maps I like are Avalanche, Guardian and Ghost Town but sadly Matchmaking attitude of “screw you, you are going to play Epitaph and Standoff until your eyes bleed” ruined the game for me that and the ungodly amounts of Lag.

Oh great, another map that will play Racquetball with my grenades. I'm glad that Bungie would rather their maps look good than worry about the fact that they provide completely horrible gameplay.

I wish Bungie would take a page from Halo 1 and the Unreal series and go wild with some really creative designs. They showed some sparks of originality in Halo 1, but I think their focus on making maps flow and look decent homogenizes them all. Go nuts with a couple okay? What could it hurt?

I would love to be excited about Halo 3 again... but ever since that last major update where the ranking has been overhauled... Halo plays like Sh@#!!!!! WTF?!?!? Why the F@#$ are there 2 different ranks?!?!? So someone can be an apprentice in.... say... "Slayer"... get matched with another (APPRENTICE)... but really they are a General???? Yeah! That's a fun day of matchmaking. Bungie.. FIX YOUR F#@%ING RANKING!!! IT'S BROKEN!! I love this game. I would love new maps. But it's not even matching people of the same skill and it's destroying multi-player. Oh, and maybe if quitting = -5 against your stats... idiots would stop quitting out at the beginning of matches. Just a thought. Fix those 2 things, and I will play the sh@# out of Halo again!! Love the game.. but it has been broken for awhile.
