I've been hoping for something like this for a long time now. Finally, something other than psychedelic space giraffe shit to play music to. Now when I have a party and I stream my music through my xbox, it can look more like a home than a dance club. I just wish they'd make more of these. Perhaps a "blank" screensaver would be nice as well.

Its a cool idea, and fun for Holiday parties, but wonder if they could have made the fire look better.

Seems like they could give this one away for free, add a Holiday mode with lights and stockings and Santa coming down at Midnight Christmas Eve! Yes!

It would be a great conversation piece for friends and families over for the holiday and good marketing for the Xbox 360.

You have got to be kidding me, this isn't free. My cable station provides a more realistic fireplace for free, what a a joke.

I would actually consider this if Christmas songs were playing in the background. That would be awesome to have for Christmas morning with my wife and kids.

I bought this. I was bored, I have a lot of Points stored up, and I live in Japan, where we can't download half the stuff available on Live.

Its stunts like this that make me want to take my xbox and set fire to it.

I've had this since the Xbox starting streaming movies. Downloaded a video of a real fireplace, one of those especially made to show of HD content from a sampler, and have it on when I'm reading or something :)

I placed my 360 in front of my tv with the fans blowing out the heat and downloaded this gem.I just returned my fake fireplace to wallyworld after getting this.I get the same effect here for 200 dollars less

you can get the same thing for on x-mas day for free by watching the WPIX (CW) channel its called the Yule Log and it comes with x-mas songs.
