Home regains voice chat

The PlayStation Blog notes that the December 22 (i.e. today) PlayStation Home update will restore voice chat to the service. The feature was "temporarily" suspended with the 1.04 patch, but now the oral racism and sexism can flow freely again in personal spaces and clubhouses with 1.05.

To update the lifestyle program, just click on the PlayStation Home icon on the XMB. For those reading this while immersed in the virtual ~~confines~~ embrace of Home, you'll have to log off and return to cruel reality first in order to download the patch.

if I gotta redownload the sqaure, theater, mall, bowling alley and shit again Imma be pissed.........

already mad I lost all my unlocks from playing Echochrome and that damn Namco demo........

if we are gonna lose shit after every update then I think Ima stay out of it until they fucking fix it so that shit dont happen.......

i witnessed it on PC before live. i've run into those types on the ps2 as well. they make you pay for it on xbox though and sometimes it's as if people feel obligated to act like that. when it does happen on the ps3 i just take off the ear piece for the round

You're doing it wrong, Joystiq. Public Voice Chat is still disabled, you can chat in your private spots and personal places, though. That's how you make sexual innuendos by the way.

Uh, missing information much? Voice chat isn't back in public spaces, just apartments and clubhouses (which is just fine as far as I'm concerned). Seems like Alex just read the headline of the blog post and went right to google images of monkeys rather than read it first.
