It has a lot of shortcomings, but the idea of Master Chief fighting Mario is just so devastatingly badical, we found ourselves powerless to resist. Seriously, we bet you could find the design doc written on the back of a binder in Wite-Out somewhere. Awesome.

Mario is invincible for the mere fact that he can do ANYTHING.
All he has to do is grab the Spartan Leaf and it's all over for ol' Master Chief.

Its pulling ideas and sprites from Mario World on the SNES...not a 2D take on Mario 64.

With 2D interpretations of Super Mario 64 levels, and some ideas from Sunshine and Galaxy also.
I'll agree it follows similar look to Super Mario World though.

I've fallen through a time warp. This must be 2000, where we've all just discovered Newgrounds and played that stupid Mario vs. Sonic Flash for the 10th time.

nice idea, but poor level design and horrible control plus the terrible boss fight remind me of the worst that newgrounds has to offer.
