lol ya know the feeling. I got Fallout3 on launch and still havent played it yet. Took a break from LBP long enough to play PoP and R2, then went and got SoldnerX & WipeoutHD and now LBP comes out with new stufff ,. damn

Publishing a level with the Paintgun earns you a trophy. If you have LBP already just go look in your trophy collection the trophies are already there.

Clever, seems the whole plot revolves around Liquid trying to flood LittleBigPlanet with Trophy Levels... That's just awesome. I love when developers use stuff that happened in the game when they released it online and make fun of the stupid aspects of it.

i just hope the paintgun is not an accesory but an item like que jetpack. So that everyone thats not willing to pay for it can play with it.
Does the paintgun only shots upward?
cant wait for this to come out. I will be the first one to put MSG4 Paintgun level so i can get visits in my level.

Well, to their benefit, a paint gun is a fun kind of weapon. Broken promises are fine, as long as everyone benefits. We all certainly benefit from this.
I wasn't going to buy this LBP DLC when I first heard of it. I'm not much of a MGS fan. Now that I know all the extra features it adds, I think I'm going to get it.

Then I heard about trophies, and I started to listen more.
Then I saw the trailer and I got excited.
Now I see this and I have decided that I can't wait until Christmas, even though I know I'm getting a PSN card then. It just looks like so much fun!

To be honest, I'm really not sure. I use a credit card and Christmas this year will be my first experience with PSN cards. If I had to guess though, and don't quote me on this, but theoretically, you shouldn't need a credit card.
On the store, you don't pay directly with a credit card, you pay with what's in your "wallet". So if you don't have enough in your wallet, what you do is pay with your credit card for the amount you need to your wallet, then use that to pay for the items. So you should be able to just use the PSN cards to fill up your wallet without the need for a credit card. Hope this helps.

I went out and bought a $20 psn card unaware that they charge tax on the PSN, then i cracked it open went to DL Wipeout HD and it was $21.75...i was so mad, until I saw the LBP MGS pack, now i'll buy Pixel Junk Monsters or Eden maybe, or maybe even Super Stardust HD

I dont understand this. If i want to play metal gear, ill play metal gear. From the looks of it, it resembles more a 2d scrolling shooter with a Snake skin.
Really, im guessing there wont be any actually decent game made with that dlc.

it's not supposed to be metal gear. it's just some costumes and metal gear themed things for littlebigplanet. and i could see a lot of great things made with it. like i said before, the paint gun and laser balls would be a great addition to the game. its just for metal gear fans who are playing lbp. got it?

This isn't MGS4, or an MGS4 clone. It's a themed creation kit.
People will make some cool levels with this industrial kit and new tools. It's going to be awesome and add a whole new "level" of play to a great game.
