The reason Brutes probably aren't shown in Halo wars is because Halo Wars mostly covers the pre-Halo 1 period when the Covenant first showed up. The Brutes and Drones weren't assimilated into the Covenant until a week or so before H1 (they weren't deployed on the ringworld because they either weren't deemed effective for combat on Alpha Halo/Installation 04's environment, or they just weren't ready to be deployed). Anyway, that's why they probably aren't in Halo Wars. It takes place when Brutes and Drones weren't in the Covenant yet.

If they do appear, it will likely be in any mission set after Halo 1 occured, if there even are any.

Nerd warning!

Actually, the Brutes were part of the Covenant long before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Brutes played a major role in the first conflict between humans and Covenant on the planet Harvest, which took place 27 years before the events of Halo: CE.

Here's a thought: don't move the console while the disk is spinning, and don't eject the disk when it's spinning.

Scratched disks are a clear indicator of natural selection.
