Wii owners in Japan who don't feel like cooking a recipe from their DS will no longer be doomed to a meal free of Nintendo's influence. A company called Yume no Machi will release a new channel next year that will allow people to order delivery directly from the Wii. IGN predicted just such a thing back in 2007!The Demae (Food Delivery) Channel will feature a list of 8,500 different restaurants, organized and browsable by genre, from which food can be ordered. Genres include pizza, bento, Chinese, sushi, curry, and more. Each restaurant's listing offers an estimate of delivery time. After placing the order on the Wii, it is faxed to the restaurant, who then sends it on to the customer. The Channel keeps a history of your orders, so users can remember where they've eaten lately and what they had.
