What could we possibly write to make this post complete. Soulja Boy created a montage video of various Gears of War 2 multiplayer footage and yeah, the kid has got skill. Easy. Settle down. No one is saying he can beat you. But, we won't hate on his game because there's an entire video of proof that shows he's good. It isn't like the video is a bunch of random snippets only showing his own kills with complete omission of his deaths. Actually, never mind. Seriously though he does have some skill, apart from using the shotgun as a ranged weapon. One question about the video though Soulja (or Mr. Boy?), what is with the slow dance sequence at the end of the video. Left-turn, sir.

Eh .. I have a theory why souljaboy or any other celebrity gamer gets regular gamers all riled up. Here goes:
Outside your parents basement you aren't much. But in that basement, with the pad in your hand, you're the king. Your gamertag probably includes the word 'dark', 'assassin', '4ss4ss1n', a55a55in or even '4554551n' if you went full retard.
In case you don't win a game it's not your skills, but the connection lag or the opponents using noob weapons. But you're secure in your control of one aspect of your life. It follows that if someone is successful in other areas of life, it would really rile you up if they also could handle gaming on top of that.
That's why you want to make statements like: "this shitty rapper who no one respects but acknowledges one song by him could never compete with regular gamers." C'mon, do the math. Souljaboy probably works 2-3 hours a day and plays the rest. He IS a regular gamer except that he can spend a lot more time playing than you can, since you need to be flipping burgers for 10 hours a day (btw hook me up with some free fries or something).
His music might suck, but that doesn't automatically take away from his gaming cred. Gamers are just such an unsecure bunch that any celebrities are viewed with hostility, especially souljaboy because he likes to brag. And guess what, even that is what 95% of XBL communication is about.. sounds like a regular gamer to me - the difference being that somebody watches his youtube videos.
Oh and you're right, we don't know if it really was souljaboy playing, but if he was in to deceiving, why didn't he get a REALLY good player to do his bidding? Anyway, I for one welcome souljaboy as a gamer, it's not like he brought the average intellect of the XBL crown DOWN.

numion, i give you respect, you have cleared poins and kicked ass, but to tell you the truth, i think soldier boy isn't too bad, his shotgun kills were nice and his torques badass (i cant do what he did, with torque) but never think that or say that a gaer beleives he is king with the controller in his hand, i know i think of myself as pa pawn in microsofts mone scheme, so next time direct youre "pwnage", to who youre target is, i for one wasnt affended by your remark, but yes, gamers hate anything that is unlike themselves, i know i did, then i matured, i still play gears2 24/7, but i respect people online, not yell out beaner if they speak spanish, or unmatured prick if they have a high pitched voice.

something they could fix on Gears 2 is the AI's (bots) ability to shoot sideways (even saw one fire a mulcher backwards), and toggle aiming (you'll see on spectator mode).. cause they have a magic shotgun that 9 times out a 10 kills you in one shot!

Doesn't matter who he is, the montage was sub-par, bad gameplay and bad editing. If he wanted to really "impress" people then he should have had someone really edit his montage and actually put clips that were good, such as clutching a 1v5, which I guess he did, but the people he was playing against were horrible.
