New games this week: Hurry Up Hedgehog! edition

You want to know why this is the very best time of the year? Because post-Christmas is the only time a company would have the iridescent, titanium balls to release a game about fast hedgehogs that's in no way related to Sonic the Hedgehog.

Think about it. "Hurry Up Hedgehog!" is one step away from "Stomp that Freakishly Large Mushroom Already, Fat, Red-Overalls-Clad Plumber!". It's a Christmas miracle.

Ways in which Hurry Up Hedgehog is superior to Sonic the Hedgehog:
1. Character's design remains consistent from multiple angles.
2. Character's face is capable of displaying more than one expression.
3. Character does not seem to be saddled with an assortment of colourful, gimmicky sidekicks.
4. Character does not appear to suffer from lycanthropy, nor is he wielding an inexplicable broadsword.
5. Character resembles an actual hedgehog.

Sega are pissing themselves with fear right now.

Anyway, from the cover it looks more like "Bipolar Hedgehog."
