This is actually the trailer for the Street Fighter movie

We had our doubts about upcoming film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li, but they've all been quieted by its first Japanese trailer, which you can see right after the break. Finally, this Kristin Kreuk vehicle has shown us some footage and jump-kicked its way right into our hearts.

As far as we can tell, there are only two differences -- quibbles, really -- between the game and the movie. 1. None of the movie characters look remotely like their game counterparts and 2. The sensation of playing Street Fighter isn't typically like having hot garbage thrown in our faces.

That's because none of the people look like who they're playing. They've got a dude from the Black Eyed Peas playing Vega for goodness sake, and the blonde dude from Band of Brothers is supposed to be M.Bison.

I really like Neil McDonugh, but he is definitely not right for that role, hell this entire movie isn't right

Don't get me wrong, I really like him too (just didn't know his name), but he is NOT M. Bison.

They didn't even change his hair color black? I mean how much effort would that take from this guy? He looks the same in every movie he's in, he could've changed his hair color. At least Raul Julia tried to become Bison.

They must have got Geese Howard confused with Bison, because he's looks more like Geese from Fatal Fury.

So I should be glad the computers at work don't have speakers? Is that what the comments so far are saying.

Is hard to say Street fighter movie and the cartoon sucked when M.Bison was so hilarious.Seriously I think M.Bison was the only reason why I watched that at all.

Agreed, Raul Julia was a treat to watch, he was so over the top, enjoying the hell out of eating the scenery.

Strangly enough, the Street Fighter cartoon was atleast better then the Street fighter II V anime series.

You know, the one where Ryu is a lumber jack, chun-li is a tour guide, Balrog "the boxer" wears glasses and a suit and isn't a boxer but an assassin.

O and how ryu finally does a hoduken in the last five episodes.

Wrong Sir.Dragonball still looks like crap, this one looks better but to be honest I’m still trying to figure out what did I just saw.

It looks generic in areas where dragon ball looks embarrassingly bad.

After seeing the Street Fighter one I was suicidal. Then I watched the Dragon Ball one,

What a bunch of negativity. They looked decent at least, but under produced. I bet if the actors fit the roles in both, and the production value were higher, you would be screaming fanboys. There really isn't much of a market for video game movies and live-action adaptions of anime, so I'm not surprised that they aren't as good as they can be.

Plus, you haven't even seen the movie, just the trailer. Good job being tools.
