No disrespect to Dustin or Richard... but Xav gets HUGE respect for at least mentioning Burnout Paradise. It was BY FAR the best game of the 1st quarter this year, and a genuine top contender for "Most Fun You Can Have Online" this year. I don't care who you are... getting 8 people together and trying to beat some of those challenges was simply a blast.
Aside from that, even BEFORE all of the updates, the game had tons of things to do. Factor in all of the added (FREE) content, and it might just be the best value of the year. Honestly, there's no reason whatsoever that it didn't sell more copies.
In my book, Burnout Paradise was one of the top 3 games of the year, hands down. But hey, what the hell do I know? I'm just a guy that likes to play fun games with his friends.
