Suit up: New TR Underworld costumes available
Eidos has given Underworld fans another free costume pack, perfect for playing dress-up with Lara Croft. The 62MB download gives Lara a blue and a red wetsuit to add to her walk-in closet. A previous free costume pack bestowed Lady Croft with her treasured original (Anniversary) outfit and her Legend ensemble.
As much as we love putting Lara in new clothes -- pretending she's the Barbie doll dad wouldn't let us have as a kid -- don't think we've forgotten about those Underworld level packs. Pretty clothes might distract us, but the "Beneath the Ashes" mission was originally planned to be out by now.

Strategy_Panda (The Sandwich Poisoning Crew) @ Dec 30th 2008 12:06PM
whats up with her feet in that picture?
Dirty @ Dec 30th 2008 12:23PM
Whoa, your right. She does have feet. I never noticed.
Terrence Newton @ Dec 30th 2008 1:03PM
both are bare, but the left foot has a shadow over it.. i was kinda thrown by that at first.
Naota @ Dec 30th 2008 2:12PM
you mean the shadow of her arm?
koehler83 @ Dec 30th 2008 12:16PM
Beneath the Ashes is never coming. Microsoft has figured out that they can save money by simply announcing exclusive DLC. They don't actually have to deliver it.
Its brilliant.
Tb4M @ Dec 30th 2008 12:21PM
I find it funny that they post this right after the body image article.

It's to make us feel better after throwing our half-realized dreams in our faces.
samfish @ Dec 30th 2008 12:28PM
Feh. Let me know when they at least give her a skin colored wetsuit.

Oh, one of the many, many wonders of PC Gaming...
Wiinterfang @ Dec 30th 2008 12:33PM
Dress up?
Terrence Newton @ Dec 30th 2008 1:03PM
yeah that's cool and all, but i'm not gonna play the game again 'til the DLC comes out. so they need to work on that. hope it comes w/ some more achievement pts.
JD @ Dec 30th 2008 1:11PM
I think the Tome Raider games are fun.. but I'm not going to pay $60 for them. I'll wait till it's on Platinum Hits!
Wiinterfang @ Dec 30th 2008 1:17PM
I'm Horny and I'm proud of it.
Jacksons @ Dec 30th 2008 2:43PM
So, anyone here have the game? Is it any good?
Madeira @ Dec 30th 2008 3:03PM
It's really, really good.
Snowblind @ Dec 30th 2008 3:09PM
It's good, especially if you liked the other Crystal Dynamics TR games, I wouldn't bother listening to most of the reviews, they were overly harsh, the gameplay is no more outdated than Prince of Persia or Uncharted. (although the camera sucks and the combat can be awkward, neither are game breaking)
The main problem is that the game is very short, almost shorter than Legend. Eidos rushed the to release the game before Christmas, which is a shame. You think they would have learned after the last time they killed the series by rushing the games out.
With a little more polish and an extra level or two it would have been great.
Jacksons @ Dec 30th 2008 3:15PM
Thanks, I tend to ignore reviews as I never seem to agree with them. It's currently $40 at target, figured I'd ask first.
WiredKnight @ Dec 30th 2008 4:47PM
God damn right they're free. They better be considering they're just recolors.
paul @ Dec 31st 2008 1:31AM
i think they could make so much more money if they just gave the no suit dlc.
Secre @ Dec 31st 2008 6:22PM
I'll be in the basement.
(Doing what?)
What do you think?
