This reminds me...

Anyone here remember that classical tune that played in TR2? The one that played in Venice?

I swear I heard an actual classical song that was the same exact composition, but was unable to track it down... Anyone here know what it might be?

Nm... Looks like it (Venice Violins) was composed specifically for the game by Nathan McCree. Bummer that it hasn't been performed by as an actual classical piece (the original is a bit lo-fi).

There is the theme on youtube, dunno who the composer is.
Wow, brought back memories though, TR2 is still my favorite Tomb Raider - forget all the shiny new graphics and the grapple hook.

Stop talking about TR2 like it was good and put emphasis on the best TR to date... The first.

I never understood why people gave such praise to TR2 and 3. The series took a massive dive in the wrong direction with the series after the first game, and it only got worse and worse. Core should have been fired far sooner than they were.

As far as I'm concerned, Legend is Tomb Raider 2. At least, the TR2 that should have been.

Hi there.

I wish to notify you fine people of some discrepancy regarding this article.

This was a community developed soundtrack, recorded from the in-game experience and resulting in a very low quality.

The Tomb Raider Underworld Soundtrack has now been digitally re-mastered, from the original raw source, now a total of 90 tracks. This is the closest version we will get to the official.
The site you have obtained this news from is even now hosting the digitally remastered soundtrack (tombraiderchronicles.com below), amongst two others (the wikispace below is the original), if there happens to be any dispute on this truth.

Have a fine and dandy day,
