Our dear old friends at Joystiq (contractually obligated to say that) are filthy, filthy regifters! Someone lovingly put thought into buying something for them and here they are just giving it away! What is it today, let's check ... oh, the Halo Interactive Strategy Game? Seriously? Someone actually bought that?! Oh, of course they'd give that away... why would anyone want... wait, I have to change this post.

Just because Halo is great (Except Halo 3, worst game in the series), doesn't mean a POS board game based on it will be. This is obviously just another way to milk the "dying" series that "used" to be great.

To be honest, strategy based board games aren't a "POS" ... One of my friends plays quite a few of them, and was excited after reading/looking through the instructions and such on the one I just got from my wifie :)
Who's to say that just because it is Halo based, it won't be a good board game? It gives people like me who rarely play board games, a chance to get into one, and please my friend who does lol, as it has a subject that I like. Unlike "Duel of Ages" where Annie Oakley has a laser blaster or some nonsense..
