Awakening is a classic i remember getting it with the original Gameboy for Christmas when i was a young boy, and wont forget as long as i live. My Wii just sits there crying because i neglect it. If i had a new Loz game to play it wouldn't sit there all alone next to my other two systems who get all the attention. I'm a bad parent aren't i neglecting my child like that...

maybe we should join a support group then cause im in the same boat as you. i like Nintendo games (their 1st party games anyway) but they just haven't released anything this year i wanted to play, so the Wii sits, mocking me for buying it first of all the consoles i have, while i play my PS3 and 360 with their seemingly endless supply of good games.

Well, while you're not playing Zelda, you can go watch Fight Club! Because if you haven't, that probably explains your virginity.

lol i was watching Fight Club earlier. anyway, even after all these years of gaming, Twilight Princess was the only Zelda game that i actually really sat down and played all the way through. i had Link To The Past but i got stuck in a dungeon somewhere around the middle of the game and never finished it. i also remember playing Ocarina of Time with my cousin but i didn't have it myself. i absolutely loved Twilight Princess though and now i know i'll right in line when they finally release another Zelda for Wii.

March 2010 is the magic date, imo.

But samfish is right, a seriously missed opportunity for Online 4 Swords via WiiWare. Though Nintendo has shown a shocking lack of initiative on WiiWare

My bet is still on for holiday 2009, possibly earlier.

Personally, I think it just means that Nintendo is compensating for the longer development time needed for games these days, and is putting the time in to get the best possible quality in its game, instead of releasing the same game with 2 trees changed and a new pet rock.

Things I don’t want in a new Zelda game

1. go to a dungeon. Find a boomerang.
2. go to a dungeon. Find a hookshot.
3. go to a dungeon. Find a bomb
4. go to a dungeon. Find Magic Boots

Things I do want.

1. Something completely different from the seven Zelda games I have played
2. a reimagining of the story
3. Pig Gannon
4. better sword play
