The Joystiq Network (except us) picks its GOTYs

While we at Joystiq like to be fashionably on time with our Game of the Year picks, our network of sites has already named some winners, and in case you've missed them:

PS3 Fanboy Awards, now with one PSP category! More importantly, though, we've learned the staff is very good at making PSP and PS3 predictions.
The Nintendo Fanboys couldn't play favorites, so they just chose their ten favorites for both Wii and DS and decided to put them in no certain order.
The crew at X3F couldn't come to a consensus, either, so they did individual picks (Richard, Xav, Dustin) in addition to letting the readers choose for themselves.
On the PC side of things, here's BigDownload and Massively's picks for the best of ought-eight.

I went to the ''PS3 Fanboy Awards'' page and clicked the link for ''Best Fighting Game''.

All I saw was ass covered in purple.

It's pathetic when the game voted as the PS3's best shooter is only the 360's 4th best shooter.

haven't you heard? the xbox isn't the shooter console.

Its not like the first 2 are 360 only, and an top the choices on the PS3 side were Dead Space, Bioshock, CoD and Resistance 2...

So yea pretty pathetic how fanboys will try to jab at every chance they get...

Fallout 3 did not seem to get as much props as it deserved this year. Especially in the VGAs...Because everyone there felt compelled to think that GTA was the greatest game ever because it sold so many copies.

...And my prediction came true with Fable 2 getting GOTY...only it was over at X-Play that did it.

I just think Fallout 3 is stuck between the Console Loyalist and the black scratch that is GTA4.
