To stop buying Xbox Live. I only used it for about a week last year.

My resolutions are:

***start Fallout 3 and get every achievement

***beat GoW2 on Insane

***play Braid, Bionic Commando and Geometry Wars 2 on XBLA (I've been ignoring the Arcade games for some reason)

***buy and play the crap out of Fable 2 if Lionhead ever patches the stinkin' thing

GoW2 on Insane is somehow funner on your own. I only played the hospital chapter in co-op and decided it was better in single player.

Yeah, I'm playing Gears solo on Insane mostly because I haven't really found anyone to do co-op.

I'm nearly at Act 5 and there have only been a few parts that made me want to rip my hair out.

Yeah that happen to me as well but the game was Prince of Persia. So now I consider myself being backlogged with games to the point where I might not catch up.

My goal for 2009 is to bring my gamerscore completion level up. I'm currently hovering just under 50% since I've only started getting into achievements since earlier this year. I accomplished one of my New Year's goals by hitting exactly 30,000 gamerscore right on 01/01/09 ... that was fun and a little tricky when I accidently got some achievements I wasn't planning on ... lol

It's not 360 related but my resolution is to play more WoW.
I never play more than 30 minutes a month.
Want to play a little more than that, but I always lose interest real fast.

Yeah it gets that way but if you do a "refer friend" and play with them then you level up crazy fast and the game don't get so boring. Off and on playing with my buddy for 3 days we hit level 22.

Play EVE.

My resolution is to get the courage to sell off my 360 and play more EVE - the depth and complexity of this game far outweighs anything else out there. I mean honestly, how many other companies hire a full-time economist to make sure that the in-game economy doesn't go berserk?

And not having a good gaming computer isn't an excuse, there are clients available for PC, Mac, and Linux and I'm running it here on Intel integrated graphics no problem.

I'm hoping to finish the 17 or so games I have yet to finish and keep new purchases to a minimum this year and to replay some of what I have.

That's easy. Level 80 without my social/business life suffering.

Also, lay low on the Xbox until RE 5.

I am making a resolution to get good at the one genre on consoles I am horrid at: Real-time strategy. I know PC is better for these games, but I don't care. I want to get competitive so I don't get trampled if I go online.

Like most here, I have resolved to not buy any games until I have finished (or finished to my satisfaction) any still in my pile of games. That pile looks like this:
Fallout 3
Overlord
Lost Planet
Far Cry 2
Tiger Woods 2009
Just Cause (no, really)
Call of Duty 4
...and a couple of others I cannot recall

Some are still in the shrink wrap. I also resolve to dedicate at least one evening a week to gaming. I did not do that last year, and I missed the escapism that gaming offers. Plus, I need more stress relief in the form of virtual violence! ;-)
