Oh, dear reader, we don't even know where to begin. In this Japanese trailer for Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop for Wii, a zombie punk band entertains the entire cast of the game, zombies included. Witness flying chainsaws, slap-happy security guards and a very pushy, mic-stealing Frank West. The weirdest part of all? Zombie and Man living together in perfect harmony. Don't say we didn't warn you.

@mega: Japanese doesn't have a 'zi' sound (as in 'ri-zing') so it's ji, and 'r' and 'l' are the same sound which is actually sort of halfway between the two... So that pronunciation isn't bizarre. Rest of the video, though? For sure.

Awesome video. If only the game looked like that. And featured a Rock Band-style minigame. ;) I might well get it anyway since I don't have a 360 - I'll see what the reviews say, although it's probably going to be hard to find reviews from a never-played it perspective rather than just 'compared to the 360 version this sucks'. (Which it undoubtedly will. But it might still be a good game.)

1) Well obviously it's pre-rendered. The real footage is in the background. Even the 360 version didn't look THAT good...

Mr Khan, what I meant was that when Resident evil 4 wii hit its graphics werent the best on the market at the time, but nothing could beat the improved control..

So I dont really care if people think this game is an abomination or not as long as it feels good to control.. If capcom can make this game fun to control regardless of any removed story elements or dumb downed graphics I think they'll have a hit that could possible outsell the original.. Theres so many people that would goble it up..The potential is huge.

"Mature" gaming is the last thing I want, Im playing through viva pinata (great game people) right now and the presentation is so sweet and anti-mature it gave me diabetes.

Yeah Im eyeing madworld, if its half as fun as something like viewtiful joe (not sure if the same guys worked on both) I'll be happy.

I agree mr nimblewick sir, I cant really think of a really mature game since the Anne frank, TMNT cross over arcade game from the early 90s..

As for controls? I dunno. It should play very similarly to RE4, as it goes over-the-shoulder for gun combat

Not even a zombie rock band could make me buy this port. I mean from everything I saw about the Wii version it looks just plain AWFUL. Hopefully that has improved and the game will at least be worthy of a purchase. I would pick it up for $29.99 if it were a good port like Okami. The difference is it's easier to go from PS2 to Wii than it is from the 360 to Wii. Great trailer for the game though.
