Was that game ever released in the US for PSP? I don't ever remember coming across it?

I'm curious about that as well. IGN had a release date of June 07 but a search on gamerankings and metacritic revealed nothing. Was this a Europe release only?

"To be very honest nobody's looking at the PSP as a huge opportunity at the moment"

somebody needs to change this for our sake.

On one hand, the idea of History Channel video games makes me excited beyond reason. On the other hand, the history channel stopped showing anything but WWII shows a long, long time ago and had to start a second channel (History International) that costs extra if you want to see actual history.

Oh....they don't really get a lot of good reviews according to MetaCritic. Ah well.

Devs for the PSP do have an opportunity to establish the system as a higher quality platform - because people are getting fed up with the DS and its overabundance of licensed cartoon garbageware.

I was waiting in line at Best Buy last night and I overheard the 20-something guys behind me going on about how 'all the DS games are retarded'...

Haha, I hate looking for DS games. It feels so awkward to have to dig through that kiddie stuff.

Twenty-somethings are also the most likely to say things like "dude" and "chicks" and "I drank a lot last night". Don't ever trust their tastes, as they have none.

If that's a psp screen shot, I didn't know that the psp could handle that many characters onscreen. Unless it's a video

I always suspected their PC games only reached 4 digits in sales, so maybe their PSP was really an improvement for them.

Still, sounds like they are fishing for a publisher for future PSP prospects, talking it up. (They couldn't even find one for that game in the US, I think. )

Unfortunately, I think it's too late for someone to show up. 2009 with its few games announced is all what remains for the PSP, I think.

I think a lot of that list is stuff that was announced/expected, but never came out. They've still got Elder Scrolls Oblivion PSP on that list.

The list contains a lot of "To Be Announced" games. This means games with no dates which could probably never come out.

Dr Haisook:

You seem to be pretty down lately, even if I do admit it is hard to see the light at the end of tunnel for the PSP this point.

Do you need a hug?

There's no need for sarcasm, David; you've just confessed it's too dim for the PSP to be resurrected. I'm not against the PSP; in fact, I love this device, but it's reality. Compared to NDS releases, PSP ones are negligible. So please stop acting smart.

No, you misunderstand my meaning Dr. Haisook. I wasn't being sarcastic at all. I was simply attempting to lighten up the situation given your negative tone in the last few comments I've come across. Clearly I failed at that.

If your expectations are for the PSP to have hundreds of new titles for 2009, then there is no doubt in my mind that you will be dissappointed in 2009. However, I tend to take a different view of the PSP's current situation. There are games coming for the PSP in 2009 that cannot be enjoyed on any other handheld gaming device. I'm sure I will enjoy the heck out of Patapon 2, Locoroco 2, Phantasy Star Portable, and Resistance next year just to name a few. Will there be a AAA game that releases each month for the PSP that I want? The answer to that will most likely be no. Yet, despite this scenario, I still can count on several really fun games coming out this year that I wouldn't get to play "on the go" on any other system. Is there some lost potential for the PSP? Sure there is, but all I can do is continue to support those publishers and developers who are putting out quality content for the PSP and hope that they continue to do so until a replacement device enters the marketplace.

So for 2009 I will continue be enjoy some unique gaming experiences courtesy of my PSP. This for me is the light at the end of the tunnel, but obviously that is just my opinion.

@ David Black

I agree with you man! I mean, would it be better to have 100's of sucky titles than to have a few quality, AAA titles? 2009 will be a year for the PSP to have a whole new slew of games. most of what's coming to the PSP is looking promising! :) I go for the quality, not the quantity (but the quantity of games this year is looking great! better than last year)

You can hit reality to us Dr Haisook , but for some of us we just don't care. there are those who see it dim, and there those who see the light.

Well, can't wait to play the new ones this year!

@ David Black

I agree with you, David. That's how I feel too. Sure, the reality is hard-hitting. But what the PSP offers is not quantity, but the quality. The new games coming out of the PSP will sure make us bash those buttons, move the analog, and click the L + R. I'd rather enjoy these games and play them to conclusion than worry my butt over whether the PSP lives or dies.

right, when I look at the large number of ds games. Most if not all of them appeal to younger children. And most are probably not rated very high. So if the psp can bring out several solid titles this year, it may be better for the system. On the other hand, I have been reading and some people honestly believe the system will not make it through another year. I don't believe that
