We're posting these new StarCraft II screens (we count six) with much reservation. After all, someone out there woke up this morning with no intention to die. But, having seen these new depictions of war-waging micro machines, this someone has triggered an inescapable obsession. Our friend will sit and stare until the eyes bleed, the throat dries and the body wavers. Eventually, this poor soul will keel over and, yes, drop dead. The doctors will call it many things: dehydration, exhaustion, heart failure. But we know the true cause. Love.

Whoa. I think this game might have me rethink my no-games-on-my-PC policy.

A policy that should have been tore up and thrown in the bin as soon as you thought it.

Unlike the Wii, this one will be worth being frozen for.

Reports on SC2 are very slow at Joystiq, and at the rate the game is morphing anything seen in a screenshot is very likely obsolete by the time its posted.
Seriously, that fifth screenshot is from back in November I believe.

They might be decent looking screen captures, but I'm still not going to support Blizzard and its decision to split one game into three. If "delivering the best experience possible" means "you pay full price thrice instead of once", they can go collectively blow donkeys in Tijuana for peso throwing perverts. Oh well...it just means I have more money to spend on Dawn of War II and Demigod.

Hmm, I don't understand the logic behind supporting Dawn of War 2 and then putting down Starcraft 2 for doing pretty much the same thing with its single player campaigns, except that we all know that SC2's story is going to be better.

You think they're holding a national parade down in South Korea to celebrate those?

Oh no, two. And a national holiday ... Since no one is working anyway.

I'll care about starcraft 2 when it gets a console port, 360 preferably. The Wii could do it but the 360 would do it better.

That ain't gonna happen as they've stated over and over, so if you care about the game at all you better expect to plug in a mouse and keyboard.
And what makes you think the Wii could handle this game, both graphically and with that controller?!?

Lol console port of SC2 that's very likely.

But seriously, this game's interface would have to be completely redesigned to accommodate a controller. Not to mention Blizzard isn't a fan of console ports, so some other company would port it and probably would end up shitty even if it were ported.

I would love to see a console port, but only if the multiplayer linked console vs PC players so I can feel good when I utterly massacre a console player with my mouse and keyboard.
