XBLA receiving Hasbro game channel; EA's Scrabble coming to handhelds, consoles

I'd love to play great Euro board games over XBL or PSN. Its impossible to get all my buddies together for games like Carcasonne, Formula De, Clash of the Gladiators, etc...

im lost, dont ubisoft already make scrabble games for DS? or are those not available in the US.

Expect to pay 100 MS points for each scrabble letter, 300 MS for battleship ship packs, 500 MS points for the dice in Yahtzee, and 1200 MS points for the actual launcher of the games.

Yeah, THAT Chip Lange. Which means each of the games will run at least 800 points. And no, Hasbro games can not be purchased with monopoly money, but only with money from a monopoly known as MS points.

I will wait for the Disc compliation of these games (like the WII has) and ONLY THAT version.

I was playing my girlfriend in Scrabble in college.

On the second to last turn, she gets a crapload of points for spelling MAGICIAN across some bonuses.

Not to be outdone, and only 4 points behind, I drop the bomb, emptying my queue and tacking on: ANTIMAGICIAN.

"WiNG, what the hell is that?"
"It's me winning the game with ANTIMAGICIAN, toots!"
"That's bullshit, you just made that up. There's no such thing as an antimagician."
"Oh yeah? Why do you think there's no magic in the world?"
"Because it's fake?"
"WRONG! Because Antimagicians cancel out real magic with antimagic."
"I hate you."

Needless to say, my attempt to spell ANTITIGER was not well received, either.

Oh hell, you all best bring your A game to battleships online, it is now officially on.

No PS3 version of the same? Hell, make it a one-time download like some of the channel-like apps the japan PSN gets and call it a day. I'd love to drop some pressure on Battleship.

That's cool. I wish Hasbro would bring their games to PSN too. Though to be honest, I'd actually prefer to play the board games in real life.

I hope they port Yahtzee Free-for-All (the new version). That's a much better game, especially with multiple people.
