Xbox 360 sales reach 28M, Xbox Live garners 17M users

Online gaming is a secondary concern to me. In fact it really doesn't matter at all. Online gaming has been played out for years. I played COD4 online for a few weeks just to get some value out of the game since the campaign was short for a $10 game, let alone something you pay $60 for.

The online experience is the same for nearly every game and never changes. I played Day of Defeat for over a year. Then Battlefield 1942 came out and that pretty much gave me enough online gaming to last a lifetime. Everything since then just seems to be a carbon copy of that experience and completely bores the hell out of me.

I'll take Uncharted, Ratchet, Prince of Persia, or Tomb Raider over Gears or Halo any day of the week. The PS3 has far more compelling exclusive single player games. Add multiplatform games and I feel that the PS3 has a far better library, even with being a year down. The PSN also has a better collection of network games as well.

I will concede the shooter genre to the 360, however Resistance is good enough as a exclusive to get your fix as a PS3 gamer. Killzone might also be good enough as well.

I see no point in buying a 360 since it will be redundant beyond Halo and Gears. If I really want to I can just play those games on my PC when they eventually come out.

With shoddy hardware, a singular gaming focus, and a pay to play online system Microsoft hasn't come close to making a compelling case in order to get me to buy a 360.

The only thing worse is Nintendo still trying to say that the Wii is a gamers machine. Outside of the 5 quality Nintendo releases, Wii games are just terrible. Just to buy something I picked up a used copy of Medal of Honor 2 for the Wii. The game is just brainless with no effort made by the developer. It's like every Wii game is made for a 3 year old to play even when they are marketed to older gamers.

I am happy that I got my new digital frame and all, but I am starting to be jealous of those that got the xbox... until then, I might have to take lots of pictures and store them in my frame... which I enjoy, but not like an xbox.

Well considering almost everyone has AT least 2 360's(like me, 1 rrod and the other a ticking bomb) and 5+live accounts it's not really a surprise.
And again, NO MGS4 can not be ported to 360 on 4 Dvd's, and MGO is part of MGS4, so it is really 50 Gb, even Kojima said that the space was insufficient to what he wanted to create, get over this bots really.

And I am sure you haven't played the Metal Gear Solid Series, have you?

Well I guess bots are not that smart, not even to use a linux distro, that's so sad.
Also is the free Online Network, Bluetooth headset compatibility, Mouse/keyboard support, Web browsing, Wi-Fi out of the box, and the best of all rrod-free. :)
