Intriguing, will certainly download the trial (although I'll wait for the XBLA In Brief review first!)

And, yay for The Wire. :)

@Xav: Ah, Far Cry 2, the game that lets you treat malaria with a magic pill. You know, like real medicine.

I want to tell you to editorialize less, or that if this game doesn't appeal to you maybe someone else should have reported it (operative word: report), or that not all games are for "us" (hardcore, not-casual, whatever you want to call it), or that knocking one genre for not conforming to reality is a little preposterous given how few video games—in their purported strive for realism—actually do.

I'm not a big fan of search-and-find games, but the genre certainly does have its fans, and lots of them, and probably none of them appreciate being told implicitly that their choice is somehow a bad one.

I'm sorry, I missed the Far Cry 2/malaria pill relevance?

Wait, in the post I wrote that we shouldn't crap on it because the series was popular. That was written after I reported it was available and cost 800MS Points. Did you miss that?

In the comments I wrote that I would knock it because I have tried it.

Two very different things.

@Xav: Yes, I read that, but I felt that your writing was dismissive of the game's worth--and thereby its fans' taste--nonetheless: "help solve fake crimes", "basically an eyesight test", "You know, like real po-lice".

I completely agree with Tyrone Rugen. Just because someone does not lik it does not mean the game needs to be bashed like that.

Me personally would not buy this game, I am more into the hardcore gaming... however my wife will end up getting this because she likes these types of games and more then likely as long as its an easy 200 points I will finish it off as well..... I have done WAY worse for 200 points :)
