Sony also plans to release a level editor in the "coming months," but there's no word on whether the company will charge for the privilege to expand the game yourself. If you want a better idea as to how Cuboid works, check out the trailer after the break.
Cuboid coming soon, squarely for PSN

The PlayStation Blog announced today that Cuboid, a 3D puzzle game, will soon be available on PSN for $10. The game will have players squaring off against 66 levels, split across three different settings. "Premium packs" (i.e.: paid DLC) are coming soon to keep addicts rolling.
Sony also plans to release a level editor in the "coming months," but there's no word on whether the company will charge for the privilege to expand the game yourself. If you want a better idea as to how Cuboid works, check out the trailer after the break.

Looks verrrry similar to a Flash game I played a while back: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/bloxorz
Hope the guy who made it's involved somehow, and they're not just ripping off his idea.

If this isn't by the same guy then there is a definite law suit possibility.
This is the exact same game except with flashier graphics. I actually thought it was the same game spruced up for PSN, so I assume it is the same people making it. If not then I expect a Joystiq report on it in the next few months.

You can expect Joystiq to report on whatever you want but PopCaps continued existance should prove aint shit that can be done about this. For some reason casual and flash based game designs really are a wild west of development. I mean, look at how many Tetris clones are on iPhone. Not to mention match 3 designs.
You can either embrace the fact that this game is coming anywhere or utterly refuse to buy any puzzle game in the past 5-7 years since not a single new thing has come out in that time. Meanwhile I, on the other hand, will continue to play Poker Smash without qualms of ripping stuff off.

Looks fun and well polished. Whether or not it's worth the $10 is a matter for debate though.

The presentation is really slick, but I have to agree with the guy who pointed out the Flash game: it's extremely similar, especially in the choices of button symbols.

I'm reminded of Cu-On-Pa when looking at this.
Which is good. I really liked that game.
