iPhone adventure game 1112 coming to WiiWare?

The developer behind the iPhone adventure game, 1112, recently left a post on NeoGAF explaining that the title has garnered some interest from a friend at "a small Wii/DS company." Alexandre Leboucher, who's responsible for 1112, made the post and said that a friend approached him about bringing the game to Wii.

Sounds all well and good, but there's the potential for a slight snag. See, the current cap on WiiWare downloads is 42mb and, well, 1112 weighs in at 128mb on the iPhone.

That's sad that there's a game that is downloadable on a damn phone that couldn't work on the Wii.

If the game's episodic anyway, they could just split it up even further...

1112 is definitely one of the biggest apps i've seen

1112 is an awesome game, but it seems like a bit too mature for the Wii's audience. I'm surprised Nintendo would let it on with how much innuendo is in the game's first few rooms alone. Never mind the game would, as said, take up nearly a fifth of the entire hard drive. Fail, Nintendo. 9_9

There's no reason to think that they wouldn't allow something mature on the Wii. In NMH, you take a dump to save your progress and you're killing people to bang a chick.

Touche. Still, I'll believe it when I see it. Nintendo lost my good faith about two months after this crappy white box came out.

I have to ask, then....if you are so against the Wii....WHY are you on this site which is DEVOTED to it and those that enjoy "this crappy white box"?

Gee, perhaps because seeing the name of a game I enjoy caught my eye, or perhaps due to the occasional article about a good third-party title coming out god-knows-when. So sorry I didn't realize this was blinded-by-fanboyism.com.

Not blinded by fanboyism, at all. I just meant that to come onto a site dedicated to something, and to basically call it trash, INVITES people to flame you. I don't think that's what you were looking for with your post, but it just seemed rather silly to come in and trash something that the site in specific is supporting.
