Zangief Chronicles reveals real-world struggles of Street Fighter

"Zangief battled many enemies in his life before Street Fighter II. All have fallen beneath lumbering boots of Zangief at one time or another. But sometimes, there is battle that even Zangief cannot win. One that doesn't take place in frozen tundras against polar bears. Zangief speak of greater struggle. A struggle that lives not in physical world, but in human heart. This is Zangief Chronicles."

We don't know why Zangief Chronicles exists, but we're glad it does. Sent to Capcom as a New Year's gift, this video series reveals some juicy details on the life (and loves!) of everyone's favorite shirtless Russian Street Fighter. You can catch all the episodes here.

Yea they did.. and much better at that. Though they kinda dropped it mid way for some reason. Or,at least, I haven't seen a new episode in a very long time.

Zangief is also a homosexual he is one of only two confirmed gay characters in Capcom lore. So the speed dating one makes no sense (canonically speaking.)

Fairly poor. Decent premise, but they really had some great opportunities they missed out on:

"Please get in back seat with Zangief. I show you spinning pile driver."

I believe the actor is, in fact, Jeff Gerstmann. I do like him in the role. He captures the innocence and pathos that I've always associated with Zangief. But, yeah, Zangief likes men and we will be addressing his homosexuality head-on in the new TV spin-off of "Street Fighter: The Later Years", called, "Street Fighter Reunion". Most of the original cast is back and I will be portraying Zangief again.
