American PSN releases for January 8th

A reasonably small update for America too, today. Not as small as Europe's update, though. Two of Creat Studios' PSN titles, Cuboid and Mahjong Tales are releasing today, alongside Qore episode 8. There's also the normal musical DLC packs and various other pieces of add-on content. Here's the full release list:

I've got it and got 100% trophies on it. At first it seemed very difficult, but once you've mastered one level, you've mastered them all. It's quite repetitive, in that one strategy works for pretty much the whole game. I'd recommend it, but it's not amazing, I certainly wouldn't get too excited about it.

Haha! Guess you americans will have to wait longer, you know, like us europeans have to do for everything else. Like SSF2THDR, most demos, our version of Qore, game spaces in Home etc.

How is it better than a free web based version or something? I'm curious because $10 seems kinda steep for a Mahjong game.

If you want to play it, go on Google and look for Bloxorz. It's the exact same game except it's free and doesn't have those pretty backgrounds, but hey! It's free. =p

Why does Rock Revolution get the Pantera track pack??

Rock Revolution is 99% cover songsand 100% are nothing like the originals which equals 100% crap... So don't get too upset over this

xtole, if you think Rock Band sucks, you have some serious issues dude...especially if you are comparing it to Rock Revoultion.

Well, I've got to say I'm a bit disappointed. Why don't people actually release a real Mahjong game for the US? This solitaire crap is not mahjong. At least not the traditional poker game, I'm used to playing.

They exist in the US, but solitaire is just much more popular.

I got excited when I saw that Pantera pack...and then I saw it was for Rock Revolution.

I want Pantera on Rockband I dont see Walk or Cowboys From Hell so there is still hope.

Wait a second... On the PSN, it says "The Pantera Pack includes COVER versions of ... MADE FAMOUS BY Pantera." I'm still bummed these aren't in Rock Band, but this softens the blow a little.

I rarely play rock band anymore, but I'll still buy a song on sale if it's any good.

I posted on the blog, complaining about that.

Nowhere did I see any indication that the $.99 price was temporary. Bad business practice.

Not that the extra buck is a great hardship--it's just the principle.

IMO 10 dollars is waaay too much for a 3 dollars and 80 cents game.

With appropriate pricing many more people would buy these titles "on a whim" and generate even more company profits.

Who do they think they are fooling? Does the demand really justify these prices or is there some sort of pricing business pricing psychology going on here.

The machine is costlier and the titles are costlier than other offerings, so where exactly are the consumer savings, when interacting with the free PSN has such blatant sights on ones wallet?

Oh wait. This is the era of boundless consumerism. Carry on. Things can only get better.

Don't like it, don't buy it. In a consumer-led world, people buying $5 games constantly and rarely buying $10 games sends a message.

Maybe their product managers found that there wasn't enough people willing to buy the game at $5 to make up the difference? If 10,000 people are willing to buy the game at $5 but only 6,000 people are willing to buy the game at $10, they're still better off selling the game at $10. They would have to sell at least twice as many copies at $5 than they would have at $10.

But I'm sure you already knew that and your rant was not only justified but completely informed.

Yes, but--unlike the Rock Band tracks--they said it would only be free for a short time.

I'd still llike to know who pays for Qore? You can't complain about Live pricing if you're paying for videos that would be free to all on 360. Maybe they shouldn't have released the free episode, as it really showed me just how lame the whole thing was. You can't even use a remote to watch it, you have to use a controller and install it like a game, totally bogus.

Seriously getting pissed about Savage Moon. I could care less if people in Europe have not gotten Street Fighter. You cant play the 300th version of Street Fighter 2 to come out since the early 90's :'( I get a confirmed release date for Savage Moon every fucking week. The only official comment on Savage Moon was it wasn't quite ready yet. Ready enough to be on every other fucking PS store for weeks.
