I think the level was called Heat, but i couldn't get back down the hill in that level on Veteran. I would always get halfway and then get pinned down to no end.

Playing Airplane on Vet was mad hard! I beat it after 20+ attempts and seeing that video on youtube that shows a guy who did it. Of course, I am not as good as this guy:

So... more ps3 owners logged on to CoD4? How's that possible?

Maybe I read something wrong

I think what they're saying is, when you add in the PS3 numbers, it goes up from 10 to 14 million.

So 4 million PS3 users.

Okay dill-weed. ANYONE that says any game in the COD series is "too easy" to beat on veteran has a real problem with their own memory. I can guarantee there were parts of COD4 that made you want to snuggle up with mommy in best so you could rest better after the AI ripped you a new one.........

I have 1,000/1,000 on every xbox 360 Call of Duty Game (2-5). None were easy on veteran. Each title had certain levels that were a complete nightmare, and some levels that were a cakewalk.

The people that claim veteran is easy, are the people that want to make themselves look l33t online in front of people that can't see them when their gamertag credentials don't speak loudly enough for themselves...

Get over yourself! my GT: Muckrak3r

The first two times I even made it to the end on Veteran, I accidentally shot the hostage. DOH! Third time was the charm, though.

Still can't believe less than 1/2 the people that played the game finished it. I wonder why.

Probably related to the fact that the 360 version of COD4 hasn't even sold 10 million copies. So a large proportion of these "unique" users are actually people with multiple accounts who have only gone through the campaign with one account The others they use just for muliplayer.

I have a different take on it. I suspect that a good 5-10% of those numbers, if not more, are folk who don't own the game, but have a friend that does. So they play the game with a friend in multiplayer without going through the singleplayer stuff.

Exactly why we needed COD 5. No interest in COD 4. Why make more maps and easy money when you can spend MILLIONS on an overdone genre. It's not like the customers know what they want.

Oh wait..... MORONS.

But if CoD:WaW hadn't been made, think of all the money ActBliz would NOT rake in from millions of idiots that bought a $60 mod.

I ROCKED that game on Veteran. I mean airplane was tough and took a couple replays, but I didn't think it was harder than having to defend that ferris wheel and the sniper guy. I specifically remember that as being tougher and being more of a challenge for me.

Airplane was easy because after a certain point you just sprint, stab and win. I got it within my first couple tries but maybe I just got lucky.

Nice. Part of the 2.8% [EnderAl].

However, it took me so many retries that I lost count, so I definitely don't consider myself elite. More like stubborn.
