Heard @ CES 2009: Does Prototype have that fairy dust?

We love Radical Entertainment President Kelly Zmak, his excitement is infectious. One might even go so far as to say that he, himself is radical ... or at least tubular. To give you a sample of Zmak, here's a bon mot he dropped on us as he showed Prototype earlier today on the showfloor of CES.

"When we get to to the preview stage and you get your hands on it and you get to play it, does it have that magic element, that fairy dust where you have those moments where you go 'F*** yeah!'?"

Here's hoping it has it.

This game, from what I've seen, builds upon a game that already had me shouting F*** Yeah.... Crackdown.

If this game has all the open world, movement, NPC's that react and provides me with more PURPOSE than Crackdown, this game will be a bone-fie FUCK YEAH!

I say, FUCK NO!!!!!! They removed Co Op...this could have been like an amazing crackdown style game, and then they go and remove co op. Still gonna be a great game, but I want co op!!!

Yeah but santa monica and the surrounding towns are hella expensive to live in, $10/hr doesn't get you very far out here... and if you lived somewhere more reasonably priced like the valley, the commute would be killer.

that's interesting. i was looking for a word to describe the time when i was playing bioshock and i had just set him on fire and finished him off with electric buck from the shotgun when he said i could go f*** myself. and i was like. yeah. this game is the shit.

fairy dust seems a lil...gay...but yeah, fairy dust is very person specific...hopefully this will ahve it for me!!
