PSP receives 'carnival colors' in Asia

Sony Asia has revealed two new striking "Carnival Color" PSP-3000 models for the region. The "Radiant Red" and "Vibrant Blue" handhelds will begin burning Asian retinas on January 17th for roughly $177 each.

There's no word on whether these colors will make it to other regions; however, CES is currently going on, so there may be an announcement buried in the circus. We've contacted Sony and will update with any new info.

i know its been done but does any1 think Sony will release a PSP with a clear casing, or like a smokey black case like they have on those Dualshocks2's ? i wud buy that PSP for sure even tho i have to much shit i lug around

And here's America, still with only about 4 other pretty boring variations other than the original Piano black. If there's anything besides appealing to a younger crowd, the one thing Sony should learn from the NDS is that whoring variations may screw over some consumers, but it'll bring you in a shitload of dough.
