Direct-feed Final Fantasy XIII screens look predictably more gorgeous

No more magazine scans, folks. Square Enix has finally opened the official Final Fantasy XIII website and has unleashed thirty direct-feed images of the game. After years of waiting, it finally appears that the game is getting closer to (shock!) actually being done? There aren't too many real-time shots to be seen in this collection, but the few that can be seen look remarkably close to the CG renders we've been seeing for so long. With Square Enix finally revving up this game's PR, it won't be too long until we see (bigger shock!) actual gameplay footage.

Had the ffxiii website running in the background, after 20minutes the music changed to some fast paced music, cant seem to get it again but sounded really good.

Sounded like a new battle theme.

And yes just came on again while typing this.

im probably going to hold on for this, because as a long time ff fan, i was have been disappointed by the past couple installments. well, XII and X2, and im not into ptp mmos, so XI was out for me too. glad they are remaking the older ones for my ds.

i love how people categorize jrpg and the constant bashing. thats pretty much the definition of prejudice, you bigots.

I can't wait to play this!

Oh well, if the EU release is a long time after the US one, as Final Fantasy games tend to be, I'll just import it. PS3's region freeness = awesome. ^_^
