I'm sold, as the game play reminds me so much of the following:

--Capcom beat-em-ups classics like Captain Commando and Final Fight
--the mayhem of Rockstar's State of Emergency
--the flair of Starsky & Hutch, and two Japanese cop shows: Bayside Shakedown and Ninzaburo Furuhata

I hate to quash everyone's high hopes but the game isn't that great. The artwork and characters are very cool, as well is the concept of having firearms in a brawler (not really a new idea, but pretty prominent in this game), but it's executed poorly. Watch 00:32-00:34 1,000 times and you pretty much know how the entire game is.

On the other hand, I am happy to see that games I thought would NEVER come to America are.

The guns were fired 22 seconds later than the time period you mentioned.

That female officer looks like a hooker. But who cares? This game looks great, I appreciate if there is an English version but I can import it. Who needs to read in a beat'em up game?

Yeah, that's my point. The gunplay wasn't executed very well so you're not going to see it that much. :32-:34 is what the majority of the game is like. Even Super Double Dragon for SNES had a better system than this one.

That trailer is awesome, it really makes the game look like there's variety in the action. That's the point of a trailer though, to get people hyped about something that's pretty sub-par. Plus there's no multiplayer, what good old school beat-em-up doesn't have co-op?

Thanks for confirming my suspicion that this is Yet Another Half-assed Success Game.

...I can't believe they didn't even put in co-op play. Astonishingly stupid.

I got this info from an email of atlus (I'm atlus faithful :P), the description sounds awesome, it says that there will be multiple characters with multiple endings and also of combo system and such, and enemies flicker when they die!, like in a old-school beat em up, I will get this game as soon as it comes out!

You know they're running low on features to promote when "retro death flicker" is mentioned... ;)
