We've loved the look of Fat Princess since we first saw it at E3. These videos from the CES show floor remind us why. The Castle Crashers meets Wind Waker art style, coupled with the simple (yet deep) team-based gameplay have us itching to try it out for ourselves. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see the game's release on the PSN. We expect this game to be a big PSN hit this year. Check out the videos after the break to find out why for yourselves.
If you haven't yet, buy SOCOM. It's like buying the official (awesome) headset and getting a game for free. Now that the 1.03 patch is out with trophies and a party system, there's no reason to wait.
Why can't we get a expected release date on this or other PSN games? A month even would be nice, but PSN games seem to be a case of wondering forever until the week before it is released, or even the day of.
I was hoping this would hit early feb and keep me busy til Killzone 2.
I am looking forward to this more than any game this year (besides uncharted2) It is so original in so many ways. Do we know if it has local multiplayer?
Oh please. Do you really think that this will overshadow Killzone 2? It is two different games completely. One is a strategy game and one is a shooter. It's like wondering if Mario Kart will overshadow Prince of Persia.
Wow, looks really cool. Hopefully it comes out soon and for $20 or under. I can't really justify spending more than $20 on a digital game. Looks like a definite purchase for me.
Local multiplayer will consist having multiple ps3 running lan. Well that's what i think unless the implement split screen. That will suck so much. Or 2 player in 1 screen will be hard because both player will have to stick together to see the map lol.
Hmmm... 1-hit killing shotguns sounds a bit overpowered and priest seems a bit boring to play compared to the archer and warriors but other than that it looks like a fun game.
You know as much as i love Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5; Is it bad if this the game that I am most excited about this year? I mean 32 players fighting over fat princesses, I jus CAN NOT wait!
I just hope it isn't left in the shadows after K2 and RE5 release.
Do headsets really make a big difference in terms of teamwork.
I have one, and it's pretty much just people chatting about random stuff and insulting each other. It's hilarious but rarely useful.
I'm optimistic that games like this which are based heavily on team work will change things, until then I guess it's just fun having a laugh with other people.
It's amazing how much better the gameplay is when the headset is used for it's actual purpose. I agree with Frodo that on most occasions, people are just chatting away and sharing their terrible music to everybody else but I've had a few instances that we would coordinate attacks or what not and have successful results.
OMG!!!! I need to know when it will come out so I can get a PSN card for it... you can feed the princess cake! LOL! The part that really got me was the potions that make chickens. I want to see a bunch of chickens fighting!!!
Just because something has upgrades involved doesn't make it deep. This is straight up simple. Sins of a Solar Empire is deep. Eve Online is deep. Not to say this doesn't look like great fun. Will definately download this.
