And even if it doesn't go out of business, you still have to go to Circuit City. I pre-ordered LBP from them and they gave me an estimated shipping date weeks after it was supposed to come out. I bought it from GameStop and tried to cancel my preorder, and it had already shipped. Then trying to spend the $15 gift card I got for preordering was another ordeal. Bad selection, high prices, terrible service... Oh, and the whole "will we still be here tomorrow?" thing.

Exactly, I don't know who in their right mind would pre-order from Circuit City anymore. $10 isn't much of a discount, you'll probably see other stores giving this discount in the near future, maybe Toys R Us?!

@ Nineteen88

Where SSF2T:HDR was a redrawn version of the original SS2T, Street Fighter 4 has 3D models on a 2D plane. basically its Street Fighter 2 in 3D with some new characters thrown in there for good measure.

That actually isn't how the deal works. I checked it out and it looks like Circuit City Charges $59.99 for the game and then discounts it by taking $10.00 off of that. They then throw in a $10.00 gift card and charge you (big surprise) $10.00. This brings the final price back to $59.99 except now you have a gift card with it.

Yeah you are right.

even removing the gift card in the cart bumps the price back up to 59.99

So 59.99 plus a 10 gift card for a store thats going out of business.

yeah it's not actually 50 dollars, maybe it was and the price changed back? either way it's 59.99 + a useless 10 dollar giftcard. and to comment on the guy before, sf4 may have same levels as sf2 but the combat system is suppose to be different with new characters.

It was working earlier for $49.99 - $10 discount + $10 GC.....

I didnt order it. CC is way too shady!

"Update: Looks like the deal is dead. Price is back to $60."

No its not dead, it costs 60 dollars, but you get a $10 gift card which would make it cost you $50. They are even giving out $10 gift cards on the collectors editions too!

Well, before the deal was a $50 game with a $10 gift card. Now, it's a $60 game with a $10 gift card. That's $10 more than before.
