Yeah, I thought that was kind of weird. Now I know.

Otherwise, I haven't had any of these problems yet 'cause I just started playing the game. Good timing, I s'pose.

I bought all the stuff in Bloodstone for that reason. I checked the manual several times because I thought I was doing something wrong also that the decoration mode sometimes didn't work.

Now that If I could enter the decoration mode in the Castle, my in game kids don’t have anywhere to sleep. For a castle is very sh*tty I mean just a few rooms.

I thought the same thing. I just thought it was poor planning on Lionhead's part.

How about making the actual GAME playabe for some of us?

My 360 locks up on Fable 2 all the time, usually about every 5-10 minutes. :(

The only bug I remember running in to was when I got back from the Spire. Hammer was waiting for me in the bar, but I didn't want to go main-questing yet, so I went and visited my family.

Got introduced to my daughter, gave her a present, life was pretty good. Then hilarity struck. I left to do a side quest, and when I got back to town, my daughter was broken. She would just stand there in town perfectly still, perfectly silent, like some kind of Real Doll.

Talking to Hammer fixed her. I'm not sure what to make of that.

The only bug I ran into was when I played through a second time. First time I was playing Badass McGee who killed every guard and every citizen in town.
Second time as my good guy, I was able to continue donating to the temple of light and I could get that weapon (something of the sun, its a giant golden half moon cleaver) over and over again.

I got stuck after completing the arena a second time. My character just stood there while people gather to see how perfectly still he was. Even If I teleport to another area my character would be perfectly still.

Hopefully the game didn't saved there but before confronting the troll so I just quit and moved into other stuff.

I never felt like playing the game again I mean if it wasn't for the craptacular save system I would have gotten all the endings in the first run.

@ Jekyl: I got all the endings in one playthough. its called save before you pick a card, then push power button. Load save, repeat. That will at least get you the cheevos. If you want to actually see the ending, check you tube or play through it 3 times.

LOL!

I loved "my daughter was broken" i just cant live with that phrase.
It seemed so deep.

Take your daughter out to see the sun, to the ocean, and she might be herself again.

:P

Well, they didn't squash my bug. Post patch, my Xbox still BSODs every time I go to Westcliff. Seriously Lionhead, this is a major bug that's affected a lot of people, it should be priority 1 to get fixed way above the furniture store being out of stock.

To someone who's never played the game these sound like bug fixes from an Onion article. "Your child will no longer be chosen as an assassination target."

Its pretty sad that they have been so focus and an expansion that it took this long to get bug fixes especially for like "The Ritual/Monk's Quest" which was found within a day of the games release. I would say at least 90%+ have already beaten the game.

Figures, they didn't fix the only bugs I've run into-- the ones with the quest that has you revive Lady Grey.

Can I opt out of this "bug fix"?

I think "The Spire (Part 2)" fix is only applicable if you haven't already run into it. I played yesterday after the update installed and I still cannot get on that frickin' dock!!

Oh wells, looks like I'll have to spend my time playing Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, Prince of Persia... or any other game EXCEPT this broken one.

@ JB87: I've experienced the same glitch. I've brought back all the body parts, but then the quest starts over. So annoying.

i know its not a bug but... i think they should have patched the gargoyle thing in the temple of darkness ( or whatever its called), because after i completed the spire mission and had not gone into the temple it wouldnt let me in. therefore i couldnt get the 50th gargoyle and get the achievement. GAYY!!
