Rumor: Killzone 2 bundle headed for Europe

Word on da street is that a Killzone 2 bundle is headed for Europe -- there's even a picture of the bundle to accompany the rumor. From the looks of it, the bundle will include an 80GB PS3, a single DualShock 3 controller and a copy of the PS3 exclusive first-person shooter. No release date was given, but we are assuming it will be around the same time as the release date for the game, February 25th.

If this proves to be true, we think US gamers can officially be jealous of gamers on the Old Continent.

i hate the rest of the world, RE:5 PS3 bundle, LBP bundle, and now this. Even though I got a MGS4 ps3 my family still wants another one for me younger brothers

I agree with you. This is something that should be deliver to the US more since 75% of Americans likes to play FPS games.

I hope to god they do this in the US too.

This means that the game will sell off the chain! Every time a game gets bundled with the PS3, not only does the console sell alot but the game sells tremendously well. example: Moterstorm, MGS4. Too bad if this doesnt make it stateside.

What's the big deal? You can get much better offers in shops here than these pre-bundled offers from Sony.

With this bundle it will attract FPS freaks from PC to PS3. It will benefit lots of Americans if it was ship to us and Sony will make a good sell amount. Either they are not thinking straight or they're trying to cut down their budget. Who knows...

With a bit of hype this game could really be a Halo killer. I mean, Halo isn't really that good of a game, but look at what the hype did.

If I were Sony I would release this bundle in the US, and hype Killzone 2 until they're just couldn't possibly be more hype. Then 360 and PC gamers will go to the store and see this heavenly bundle. SUCCES!!!

I don't know why everyone compares every FPS to halo.
Halo 3 had a very average single player campaign but it still is the benchmark for multiplayer FPS.

i guess you don't remember killzone 1 or haze then...

They really need to bring this to NA and really kick up the advertising for this game.

If that came to America, with a redesigned case like the MGS4 one, I would totally re-buy a PS3.

yeah I was just gonna say - I'd buy that bundle even though I already have a PS3!

I hope they don't release this bundle in the states. They should release a bundle that includes the system, the game, and the official bluetooth headset.

And the dualshock 3 of course.

I personally don't find these bundles to be too jolly for..Like all you get is a box art not a system art/design on the system. But who knows..anyway in my view its just a box art to draw your attention more...AND it better because this is KZ2..it's been too long of a wait since MGS4..

What is it with you guys? Can't Europe have something for once? We hardly get anything before you guys, so this is a nice thing just for us Europeans. You guys should count yourself lucky with all the games you get before us. Like how stupid is it when a UK based game get released in the states before it does in the UK/Europe? For example, LBP. Just don't be too annoyed guys.

Because if the product was to be release in US it will benefit Sony more. Not about being selfish on which region is getting it and which is not. It's about competing against other consoles. The way how PS3 is right now it needs real work. If they invested something that will make a lot of money in one continent why not invest it in other regions too? Know what i mean. What they seem to be doing is trying not to not waste money. But wasting money means making money. It just seems like Sony doesn't get that.

We never ended up receiving a PSN download of Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion, have no idea when Street Fighter HD Remix is hitting our shores either...

Idk what there is to be jealous about, a pretty box?...Seems like same stuff any ps3 comes with and a slightly discounted game...I personally think its uselss, ill just buy the game...Now if it was that Yakuza bundle with the awesome paint from japan its a diff story.

well, we all know sony needs all the help it can get for console sales, but box art wont help, although kill zone 2 bundle aint a bad idea. Be better if it was a designed kill zone 2 dual shock controller, like with art work, that be better I think.

bummer 4 us then.......oh well im still pickin this up

The box art is a SLIDE ON COVER over the NORMAL ps3 box!
I have the LBP bundle (UK) and its no diff other than a poop LBP sleave
