Sega's got another teaser page up, with a countdown set to expire in 10 days and a handful of hours. All we know is that there's a pixelated mushroom and that the "produce" belongs to Phantasy Star Universe's Takayo Myoshi. Perhaps it'll be the first game that mushrooms can play.
If that's not enough countdown for you, Marvelous has one, too. The page features a floating Triforce-infused medallion, which means that whatever the announcement ends up being, you'll be disappointed that it's not Legend of Zelda.

Of PSU fame?
hmm... They're already doing PS0, which is apparently fully featured and on the DS. But i couldn't see where a mushroom might associate itself with the more recent PS lexicon. PSU's evil was called The Seed, but mushrooms don't grow from that
The other is, of course, even less comprehensible. Perhaps a Dreamcatcher of some sort?

Dreamcast 2 launching Fall 2009 with Skies of Arcadia 2, Shenmue 3, and a good Sonic Adventure 3.
A new Jet Grind Radio will follow shortly after.

You know... it's crazy... But I think if they did release a Dreamcast 2, right now, in the middle of all this jazz, it would totally sell like hot pancakes.

An outsourced Zelda game?
That'd be cool. Wouldn't be the first time it happened, and it usually ends well. Of course, this is all speculation, but I mean come on, that's too much like the triforce to be anything but Zelda.

If that's not tri-force, then I'll eat a hat.
I'm all excited now. (About Zelda, not eating a hat.)

May I recommend a rice paper hat?
May I also advise you to stay well away from a Viking hat, unless you have a burning desire to bore a hole into you oesophageous to allow it to have contact with the outside world, by which case please go ahead.

WRE my man, you're gonna wanna last longer than that. Try to think non gamesual* thoughts to hold out a bit longer. For example repeat the off-putting mantra "Rayman Rabids/casual Zelda/Wii Fit crossover" over and over in your head to make limp your gaming libido.

He's a little late really. His brother, Postejaculation Man would be more appropriate here.

Yeah, in the Longlongago when Joystiq made us have to confirm all our comments through email, I used to have a work Joystiq account that was linked to a Yahoo account and my home one.
...but I stopped using that when I finally had the bright idea to forward my home account email to the Yahoo account.
I have no idea what the password is anymore and the computer I was using to type that shouldn't either, since I began using it well after the last post date on mysteryfish's account.
How odd.
