These were really easy and the game is fun.

Very easy trophies, in less than 3hours i put 100% on the game!

Havent bothered with the current gen of NHL series, and i really wasnt impressed with the stupid big heads, but after playing the demo i had to splash the cash as its fun. Its like a mix of NHL and Speedball, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Have to admit though, even on easy more often than not im getting my ass handed to me. The AI just Deke's its way past the goalie leaving him flat on his backside, and i score by mixture of fluke and... yeah, just fluke i guess. 2 player co-op its much easier, just have the puck holding player hold off while the other guy goes in to flatten the goalie and hope it doesnt hit someone/thing on the way in. But i just cant seem to score with the deke, and wondered if theres something i should be doing which im not. The invincible trophy is frustraiting the heck out of me, ive won 5-3 from 3-0 down, and done 4-0 but thats it :(
Anyone got some tips?

P i got some tips for you. I'm no pro but ...i've begun to see some patterns.

To score always look for a quick outlet pass. A quick pass up ice can lead to a break away or a 2 on 1. From there a quick deeke left then right will usually put it in the net or a quick pass late will give you a goal on a one timer.

HIT!HIT! AND HIT MORE! Body blows cough up power ups. Speedster is ideal for those break aways. When you get it, give the speedy player the puck and have him race up and across the goalie..tis a goal 99% of the time. Same strategy applies for the X2 guy. Get him to score!!!!

On deffense HITS. hits cause loose pucks and turn overs which can lead to that up ice pass.

Poke check to stop rushing players if a small player is on a bigger guy or your out of position.

Apply pressure after you score. Sit behind the net and check or sit on the red line right there and keep the puck in their zone. A timely hit can lead to a quick score right after you just scored.
