I noticed they were not using the Wii Remote Jacket. I wonder if that would have lessened the blow. I imagine it might.

Yet on the footage they still haven't relised that a big rubber cushion on the end of the remote should be put on, it says it everywhere on the new Wii Sports. (stupid Wii sports of mine doesn't have Boxing replays, but my girlfriends does that she got for christmas, maybe if i beg and plead to Nintendo they'll send me a new disk in place of my old one?)

How can the dog have been "killed instantly" yet "brought back to life" minutes later? The dog was probably unresponsive or unconscience for a moment; however, there's no way mouth to mouth is going to revive something/someone from an injury to the head.

Shenanigans!!!

"killing the dog instantly", does that mean zombie dog? Because I'm pretty sure killing means something different injuring.

They say it was officially dead once she hit it, but the neighbor's CPR brought it back. So, yeah, guess it is a zombie dog. *shrug*

So the dog was supposedly killed instantly, so the owner has to go to the phone, dial the number, wait for the neighbor to answer, tell the neighbor what happened in a shrieking, frenetic voice, and then wait for the neighbor to come over and administer mouth-to-mouth, which miraculously calls the dog back from the dead? I don't trust this story. On a side note, the Wii has been out for over two years and people are STILL hitting stuff with the remotes. Amazing.

But then agai, the family only got the Wii for Christmas.

So hey.

No one really likes cats, and cats hate people. The only thing cats are good for is making tamales.

Honestly, you'd have to hit a cat with a deadly blow like nine times. Doubt there's much concern there.

Just wait for the lawsuit against Nintendo for "emotional damage" the dog has now. Also I laughed at the neighbors name being Pene cause thats Spanish for penis.

yey BS stories gotta love em. If this happenned at all the dog just got knocked out, not killed.

You hit something on the head hard enough to kill it it is going to stay dead.

There's a difference between CPR and mouth-to-mouth. Mouth-to-mouth is just breathing for a person/creature who is not breathing, but CPR also includes chest compressions to stimulate the heart to keep blood flowing.

If the neighbor only performed mouth-to-mouth then I think the dog was just unconscious. If the neighbor performed CPR then the story could be true.

For all of you saying that being brought back from the dead is impossible, you're wrong. People have "died" (totally unresponsive, no pulse, no breathing, no signs of life) for several minutes and CPR has brought them back to life. My mother is one of those persons.

You make a very valid point. But in the video, the neighbor says she just did mouth-to-mouth.

The neighbor also says she felt the dog's pulse when she came over and it was racing, then stopped. So much for the dog being killed "instantly" when struck with the remote.

I'm not sure who irritates me more -- the dog's owner and neighbor for thinking the dog was killed instantly and then brought back to life by mere mouth-to-mouth, or the news station for reporting such obviously inaccurate information.

How did they know the dog had "died instantly"? Why did they call their neighbor to give the dog mouth-to-mouth for a head injury?

None of this story makes any sense.

My guess is with a little dog like that, it just kinda went straight over, like a small flower bends in a strong wind to kiss the ground. Less than a foot. Final answer.

Our cat likes to get up on your lap and rub on the wiimote, blocking the IR, she's smart enough to stay away from flailing humans, little dogs....not so smart.

The dog is no longer allowed to be on the room when they are playing wii? I guess next Christmas they should ask Santa for an XBOX360 and the Halo 3 Legendary Edition (you know the one with the little Master Chief Helmet) and make the little doggy wear it.

MythBusters sucks... for plain myths, they're good to go. But the more complicated, ritual, or spiritual the myth - the less time they spend on trying all aspects (or even caring).
I used to love the guys, but they've killed the fun for me.
