Or rather, "Hal's Rifle." As many players of Fable 2's $10 Knothole Island add-on have discovered, the meteorologically confused island offers an anachronistic surprise within the "Box of Secrets" store. If you've got a pure experience extract potion to trade, this rapid-fire rifle (with an ammo capacity of 24!) is sure to complete that spartan ensemble in your hero's closet. Switch out those pesky Hobbes for Grunts and nobody will know you're playing a non-shooty game. Masculinity preserved!
Another futuristic, albeit considerably less charming, addition to Albion comes in the former of an alleged animation glitch. According to a PushingPlay blogger, the DLC's addition caused his character to cease walking and simply slide everywhere -- appropriate for the Knothole's (sometimes) frigid climate, but something we've asked Lionhead to look into. Check back later for Joystiq's verdict on the new quests.

Too bad the DLC didn`t include an onscreen, functional and convenient map system.

The not having an on screen map is kinda annoying at first but totally forgot about it because you can either fast travel or set that golden trail to lead you where ever you gotta go.
It must a bitch collecting all those keys and treasure chests though.

Personally I found it far easier to find silver keys and chests then in Fable I

That's so awesome. I wonder what would be the fable equivalent to a sticky grenade?

Just as soon as I get my copy back from my GF I'm downloading this. I prefer to shoot my enemies rather then slash them.

What if the energy sword could shoot lasers? Then it'd be a Halo version of the gunblade.

Slide and Knothole are two words that should never be used in the same sentence.

My phone camera made it worse, trust me.
(If we want to complain about Fable 2 graphical effects, we should target the motion blur.)

I think Fable is a pretty cool guy eh, kills Hobbes with his assault rifle and doesn't afraid of anything.

it kind sucks actually, it has a huge capacity compared to other guns but each bullet is so weak that you have to fire so many you barely get any bonus experience.
The only bug I've encoutnered from the DLC, or rather the patch from a few days before, is that if I have a beard and extra facial hair (say, mutton chops) i can only dye which ever one I got first. So now I have a black goatee and blonde mutton chops

I experienced the sliding thing as well in the pirate island. I Saved and then reloaded and I was back to normal.
